MasterCard

SAFCU is moving our MasterCard Credit Card portfolio in-house.  What does that mean for you?  You will see your MC Credit Card as an additional suffix on your SAFCU account when you log into your internet banking; therefore, you will be able to see the history of your transactions, the same way you view your savings / checking account history. 

Payments that are set up to be automatically drafted will stop May 1, 2024.  After that date, automatic payments can be set up with the Loan Department, or you will have access to transfer the payment directly via the online banking app.  The new due date will be on the 5th of each month, beginning June 5, 2024.  

 

We anticipate the mailing of the NEW MasterCard plastics, which will be a NEW card number and EMV chip enabled card, to replace your current card, arriving mid-April 2024.  This new card cannot be activated or available for use until our GO LIVE date of May 20, 2024.  (The old card will be discontinued on May 17th)
If you have any recurring charges set up with your current MasterCard, you will be responsible for stopping those payments and setting them up with the new card number by May 31, 2024.
